Monday moodboard - busy week
ONE YEAR SALE Linen Reusable Shopping Bag (Small) :: Karmologyclinic
The Really Big Lavender Bag. pause herbal cushion :: lapomme
PRINTABLE To Do List :: krize
Oh ! Can you see how stressed and busy I feel this monday ? It’s a busy week ahead, my favourite spring sales event is held on up-coming weekend. And tough I started preparations early – there’s still much to do… some last minute ideas that just sneak in, errands to run, a shop banner to be made… and in addition some of our Beloved-jewellery will be on runaway as accesories in a fashionshow! That’s both exciting but still stressful..
So.. I need a great pause to sort out my toughs into a lovely to do list and then do some last minute shopping (and yes – this is a situation that needs chocolate as well…)

book of the moment
Book of the moment is this time actually a sneak preview for an up-coming book.

Perhaps the most beautiful lace-book of all times is due to January 2010. Three wonderful young Finnish women: Rinna Saramäki, Riina Honkimäki and Emmi Jormalainen are finalizing the photoshoots and compiling of this fairytale like book. Publication is by Wsoy.

Lace-book introduces you to different lace variations including instructions for lace making techniques. A bundle of wonderful ideas on how to use those lovely, delicate lace treasures found in attics and flea markets with new personal way.
The captivating images throughout lace book inspires you to enjoy beautiful details and to add a dash of lase to your own wardrobe as well.
Sneak preview images seen here are courtesy of makers and evoke feelings of nostalgia and zakkalicious excitement. Thank you Rinna !

bag of the moment
The postboygirl made a trip from our postbox to the front door today. She had few letters and then a big envelope from all across the ocean. From Ohio, USA arrived the perfect linen tote with cute accompanying linen pouch (the perfect size might I add). With this linen reversible zakka-tote I can still feel the sea and catch the last days of summer. Thank you H !
- The bag and I will go tomorrow to a summer’s last big flea markets – hoping to find some drifted materials for crafting.

button meditation

Anjan nappilaatikko
Years ago I used to sneak into my grandmothers sewing corner and dip my hand into jar of buttons. The colors, shapes and size of various buttons was a base of many interesting ‘art work’.
Nowadays I sneak into kitchen of my husband’s grandmother. She keeps her amazing collection of buttons in pastel colored metal tins. Buttons are neatly assorted by color. Beside the buttons, I get to enjoy a cup of coffee and a story behind all those lovelies collected over the years.
If you think about all the sorting (color, material, size, shape), beading the buttons into cotton string, enjoying the beauty of the collection, dipping your hand into the jar and finally all the inspiration a simple button can bring – how relaxing !
